Arvil Raymond Martin, Jr, age 68, of Carrollton, Texas passed away on Tuesday, January 1, 2019 in Frisco, Texas. He was born on January 20, 1950 to Arvil Martin, Sr. and Faye Martin in Dallas, Texas. Arvil married Judy Stevens on March 14, 1970 in Dallas, Texas. He was a buyer for Tom Thumb/Randalls for 26 years. Arvil is survived by his former spouse, Judy Martin of Carrollton, Texas; daughter, Misty (Carr) Thomson of Katy, Texas; son, Michael (Marian) Martin of Krum, Texas; sister Donna Henegar of Carrollton, Texas; and grandchildren, Taylor Thomson, Tim Thomson, Trey Thomson, Tessa Thomson, Hunter Martin, Chase Martin, Chance Martin, and Sydney Martin. He is preceded in death by his father, Arvil Martin, Sr.; mother, Faye Martin, and sister Brenda Lewis.Visitation will be on Thursday, January 3, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral service will take place on Friday, January 4, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Northpointe Assembly of God, 2021 E Park Blvd in Plano, TX.
