Aubrey V. Weatheread's Obituary
Born Feb.11, 1920, in Lamar County near Paris, passed away in his home July 31, 2008. Aubrey was preceded in death by his parents, Joel and Laura Weatheread, seven siblings, son Dale Weatheread and grandson, Matthew Weatheread. He is survived by his wife Dorothy, daughter Carol Schluntz (Frank) of Sacramento, CA, daughter-in-law, Charlotte Weatheread, brother Olen Weatheread, sister, Gladys Babbitt, grandsons, Jonathan Mills (Arika), Brad Weatheread, Andrew Weatheread, granddaughters, Lisa Murphy, Stefanie Johnson (Travis), ten greatgrandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Aubrey moved to Dallas after discharge from the U.S. Airforce in 1946. He retired from Dallas County, after 30 years of service, in 1985, where he worked as Deputy Constable and as a heavy equipment operator for the road and bridge division.
