Audie Ray Wood's Obituary
Audie Wood, 69, of Dallas, TX was born January 4, 1955, in Dallas, TX to Clarence S. Jr and Betty Wood passed away on January 14, 2024. He married Pamela Pannell on April 2, 1983 in Dallas, TX.
Audie was one of a kind. He was incredibly intelligent, full of life, never met a stranger and was loved by everyone that knew him. Audie loved God and his country. He was an avid hunter/outdoorsman and spent as much time as possible at the dear lease/land in the Texas Hill Country that he loved so dearly for 45 years. Audie worked hard owning his own HVAC business for 40 years and took great pride in his work. He was a fun-loving thrill seeker and had many hobbies over the years, most recently hunting and drag racing. He was an avid reader, had a big heart, and was always eager to help others. He was the life of the party and will be deeply missed.
He was preceded in death by his father Clarence Wood Jr, mother Betty Wood, and sister Sheila Wright.
He is survived by his wife Pam Wood, daughter Brittany Wood, nephew Jason Wright and wife Denise, great nephew Owen Wright, and several cousins.
Celebration of Life will be held at Restland Funeral Home at the Wildwood Chapel on Thursday, January 25, 2024, at 10:00am.
