Audrey Lee (Rinehold) Tipton Flood's Obituary
Audrey Lee (Rinehold) Tipton Flood, 88, of Rowlett, Texas, passed away peacefully on August 7, 2025. She was born on May 15, 1937, in San Antonio, Texas, to Herbert Rinehold Jr. and Beulah Pleasant, and was the stepdaughter of Marshall Tipton Sr.
Audrey attended Northside High School in San Antonio and was crowned Miss Western Elegance in the 1957 Western Parade. At a young age, she married Reid (Bobby) Robinson Flood Sr. While Reid served in the military during the Korean War, Audrey lived at his family's Texas Trails Ranch in Helotes, Texas. After a few months of marriage, Reid was able to send for Audrey to join him in France where he was stationed. They lived in France for almost a year before returning to the United States.
Audrey had a love for shopping, travel, and loved animals. She will be remembered for her elegance, adventurous spirit, and the love she poured into her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Reid (Bob) Flood Sr.; her parents, Herbert Rinehold Jr. and Beulah Pleasant; her stepfather, Marshall Tipton Sr.; her half-brothers, Robert Rinehold and Marshall Tipton Jr.; and her half-sister, Patricia Harmon; her children, Marsha Flood, Marion Unruh, and Reid Flood Jr.; and her grandson, Shaine McClellan.
She is survived by her daughter, Charlotte Greco and husband Joseph of Flower Mound, Texas; grandsons, Chris Unruh of Dallas, Texas, Michael Unruh and wife Alexa of Rowlett, Texas, and Reid Flood III and wife Laura of Greenwood, Indiana; and great-granddaughters, Kate Flood and Ellie Flood, both of Greenwood, Indiana.
For many years, Audrey attended Lakepointe Church in Rockwall, where she was a Sunday morning greeter. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff and friends at Beacon Harbor Healthcare in Rockwall, Texas, for their compassionate care.
She will be deeply and sincerely missed by all who knew and loved her.
