Audrey V. Presenza's Obituary
PRESENZA, AUDREY, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away on Easter Sunday, April 8, 2007 in her sleep. She will be truly missed and was loved by all. Audrey was born in Dubuque, Iowa on January 1, 1926. Audrey was a great homemaker won a prestigious award in Texas for one of her outstanding crafts and was a volunteer for many causes. She did volunteer work for the American Diabetes Association, American Cancer Society, and many hospitals and was a member of many garden clubs over the years. She was a member of Christian Woman’s club, North Canyon Creek Garden Club and an avid member of the Naval Reunion for WWII veterans. Audrey attended Visitation Academy in Dubuque and Clarke College. She is preceded in death by her husband Al of 56 years, her parents Emil and Viola, and Brother Glenn Deutmeyer. Survivors include two sons Steve Presenza and wife Karen of Crystal Lake, Illinois and his children Stephanie (Rhett) Presenza-Mays and Amanda Presenza, and Tom Presenza and his children Tony and Madison: three daughters, Lorna Trilla and her husband Tom of Crystal Lake,Ilinois and her children Andrew ( Megan ) Eisch, David Eisch, Gina Trilla, Step’children Tom and Dana Trilla. Paula Homuth of Mesquite and her children, Zachary (Cindy) and Katie Homuth-Hampton (George) and Pat Phillips and her husband Randy of Plano, Tx and their children Chelsey, Lauren and Jessica: Also loving brothers and sisters, Darlene (Pete) Duane, (Shirley), Melvin (Katie) and Dianne (Dan) and many nieces and nephews. She was also great grandmother to Genesis Flores-Homuth and Olivia Michelle Eisch. Visitiation will be held at Restland Funeral Home, located on Greenville Avenue, on Wednesday, from 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. Vigil and Rosary will be held at 7:00p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 12th, at St. Marks Catholic Church, 1201 Alma Drive, Plano TX. Interment to follow at Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery at 1:00 PM. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association and the American Heart Association.
