Every memory the I have or Gus & Gerry are some of the most wonderful memories that I have in my like. Kind, loving, caring... and such a LOVER of doggies. I so well recal Gus's Sunday chicken neck boil for all of the 8 doggies that he and Gerry had at that time. Hours of tender loving culinary effort for their babies Sunday lunch.

They were always there for any and everyone who had a need. Gus.. reserved and quiet but a giant among men. Gerry with her constant devotion to current events and politcal endeavors.

Both Gus and Gerry loved one and all with their total hearts and souls.

The other Mother and Father for me during my formative years. I would say the greatest gift of life and in life that I have to remember. Thank you both as you are part of the fabric of my life and live in me due to the love you imparted into my life.

When I look at my Uncle Gus, I see my father in his eyes, only my Uncle Gus was a little shorter then my father. I didn't know him very well as a child as he lived in TX and my family in South Dakota. I know he loved animals like my father and Gus and Gerri brought their mobile home loaded with dogs up to see my dad and took him to the Black Hills of South Dakota. Both my father and Uncle loved South Dakota just as I love my home state. You and my father will always be a part of my heart and soul. May you rest in peace Gus!
