Austin Robert Davis' Obituary
Austin Robert Davis was born on September 01, 1988 in 29 Palms, California and passed away on October 24, 2013 in Allen, Texas. He is the son of Gene and Betsy Davis of Richardson, TX. He was a 2006 graduate of L.V. Berkner High School. Following high school, Austin chose to enlist in the United States Marine Corps where he served until his passing. Austin was a natural athlete gifted with great speed. He was a fierce competitor. Austin loved soccer and played both high school and club soccer. He loved the Saints, the beach and his friends. Austin loved life. He was known for his big heart and kind spirit. He was that friend you could always count on to be there for you. Austin’s greatest passion and love in life was his family; wife Brittney, 2 1 1/2 yr old daughter Makenzie and his 7 month old son Aiden. They were the true joy of his life. Austin fought a courageous battle against the cancer that finally took him from us. He refused to give in and never gave up fighting for life. Austin’s goal was to inspire just one person to fight harder or to do better. He far exceeded his goal. Austin is survived by his wife Brittney, his children Makenzie and Aiden, his parents Gene and Betsy Davis and his brother James Davis. He is our hero, he is our inspiration. He was the best of us…. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Monday, October 28, 2013 at Restland Memorial Chapel. Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at Canyon Creek Baptist Church.
