Austin Hammar's Obituary
Austin L. Hammar (Born in Dallas, TX, on March 5th, 1988 – Passing called in Plano, TX on July 20th, 2015) Austin Hammar, beloved son, father, husband, brother, and friend to all he knew, passed away peacefully from a fatal motorcycle accident that occurred in Fairview, Texas, on the morning of July 20th, 2015 at the age of 27. There will never be anyone more beautiful and kind than he was, inside and out. His last evening on this earth, Austin was surrounded by his close friends, Anna Whyburn and Gunnar Douglas Kittelson, and laughed the night away. The last time that he was seen, Austin was grinning as he put on his motorcycle helmet. We all came to know and love that mischievous smile, and can’t wait to be greeted by it when we join him in heaven. Austin was not religious, but anyone who was lucky enough to know him understands damn well that if there is a heaven, it is made for people like him. Austin leaves behind a family that he deeply loved and cared for, that will miss him immensely; including his mother Carol, his brother Aaron, his wife Camille, and his daughter expected in October, Evelyn-May. He also leaves behind his aunt Joyce, his aunt Kathy and her husband Keith, his niece Freya, and his nephew Jason. Service will be held Sunday, July 26, 2015 at 3:00 PM in The Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243.
