Austin McCaffery Marts' Obituary
Lieutenant Colonel Austin McCaffery Marts was born on September 6, 1929 in Westmoreland County, PA, to parents Austin and Marie Ann Marts. He passed away on April 9, 2021 in Allen, TX.
Austin served honorably in the United States Marines from 1953 - 1973 as a fighter pilot. He enjoyed golfing, reading and listening to the Liberty Quartet.
He leaves to cherish his memory, wife, Nancy Diaz Marts; son, Ross Marts; daughter, Donna Marts-Gilbert; grandchildren, Justin Daniel Gilbert and Jordan Michael Gilbert; great grandchild, Owen Michael Gilbert, and great grandchild, Bryson Daniel Gilbert.
Celebration of Life will be Thursday, April 15, 2021, 2:30pm, Restland Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be 1 hour prior starting at 1:30pm.
