Balbino Guerrero Reyes' Obituary
The Angel took our beloved father, loving uncle, grandfather, cousin, and close friend to call on Friday, April 25, 2014. Born in Malakoff, Texas on March 31, 1928, his spirit and love of Malakoff followed him wherever he went. Balbino is preceded in death by his parents, Jose Reyes and Andrea Guerrero Reyes; wife, Idalia (Dollie) Reyes; sisters, Josefa Mendoza, Maria Barron, and Augustina Luna; brother, Antonio Reyes and Jose Reyes and sister-in-law, Ramona Reyes. Balbino worked at CC Young Memorial Home as a porter and retired there. He cherished his trips to Toledo to re-unite with family and friends. He touched the lives of everyone he spoke to. Balbino is survived by his daughters, Pat Reyes and John of Weimar, TX, Rose Marie Reyes of Dallas, TX; son, Ricardo Reyes and wife, Marie of Columbus, OH; grandchildren, Edward and wife, Jennifer Sanchez, Michael Hernandez, Valarie Hernandez and Frederico of Columbus, OH; great-grandchildren, Caden and Cruz Sanchez, Michael and Amorette Hernandez; brothers, Francisco Reyes and wife, Maria, and Cecundino Reyes and sister, Maria Luisa all of Toledo, Ohio; sisters-in-law, Joann Gonzales and husband, David, and Ada Martinez and brother-in-law, Paul Rangel, and wife, Elisa. Rosary will be at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at Restland Memorial Chapel. Services will be at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Catholic Church.
