Barbara Barnett born Sept. 7, 1941 in Dallas, TX and passed away April 2, 2017 in Azle, TX. Preceded in death by her parents, R.C. and Maxene Shields; sister, Debra Shields; son-in-law, Randy Carter; in-laws. Joel and Louise Barnett. Survived by husband of 56 years, Donald Barnett; daughter, Dawn Carter; grandchildren, Joel Carter and Aubrey Carter; brother, Gary Shields; one niece and five nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at Restland Funeral Home. The service for Barbara Barnett will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, April 6, 2017 in The Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243.
