Barbara Ann Brough's Obituary
Barbara Ann Brough, 72, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania passed away on July 21, 2020 in Plano, Texas. She was born on May 22, 1948 to Ernest G. Brown Sr. and Josephine Cataldi.
She was an Executive Administrative Assistant for Resolute Management and Cigna for 25 years. Barbara had a passion for all things Italian; she was able to make her lifelong dream of traveling to Italy come true. There, she connected with several generations of her Italian family both in Italy and France. She was able to visit the town of Palazzolo Acreide in Sicily, where her grandparents immigrated from.
She enjoyed traveling, cooking, entertaining and the beach. She moved to Texas in November where she developed a love for Mexican food and margaritas. Nothing made her happier however, than the time she was privileged enough to spend with her grandkids. Through it all, she always had a smile on her face and enjoyed playful banter. She made a positive impression on everyone who crossed her path. She will be missed dearly by all.
Barbara is survived by brother and sister-in-law Ernest Brown Jr. and Barbara Brown; daughter and son-in-law Paula and Brandon Boutell; son and daughter-in-law Jonathon and Jennifer Brough; grandchildren Vivian and Oliver Boutell; nieces and nephews Jennifer Derck, Nick Serrano, and Matt Brown; great nieces and nephews Kyleigh Derck, Kadia Derck, Isaiah Derck, Elena Brown, and Ezra Brown; cousins Adele Silvestro, Thomas Cataldi, Albert Cataldi, Eva Silvestro and Ralph Silvestro.
