Barbara Anita Bryant's Obituary
In Loving Memory of our Beloved Grandmother,
Surrounded by love and carried by faith, Barbra Bryant entered into
eternal rest peacefully on January 17th at the age of 89. It is with
heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear grandmother
and mother, Barbra Bryant. Who was known to us as the sweetest
person on this earth. Born on January 13, 1938, in Dallas, Tx, she was
the beloved daughter of Gracie Lomas and Leroy Lomas. She was a
devoted mother to her six children, Karen Hamilton, Cynthia Edwards,
Kennith Smith, Sonia Bryant, Vernon Lomas, and Colleen Lomas.
She survived the passing of five of her children throughout the years,
having entrusting them into God’s care. Though we mourn the loss of
her earthly absence, we draw strength knowing she is reunited with
her heavenly family and one day we will see them again. Barbra
Bryant lived and worked her entire life in Pleasant Grove, where she
was known as a hard-working single mother who dedicated her life to
raising her children and loving her grandchildren. Her life was a
testimony that faith sustains, love endures, and God’s promises never
fail. She will be remembered for gentle words, reassuring presence,
and constant powerful prayers over her family.
Her legacy of love and strength will live on for generations to come in
all who are survived by her. She is survived by her daughter Sonia
Bryant. Her grandchildren Demetria Hodges, Denise Smith, Damont
Edwards, Audrey Hall, Sholanda Smith and Joshua Bryant. Her great
grandchildren Kaylee Grissom. Allie Grissom, Nicolas Laboy, Braylin
Edwards, Sam Hancock, Jeremy, Bradley, and Vernon Jr. Lomas.
Mckaylah Grissom, Alaina Grissom, Kenneth Holmes, Jamal smith,

Barbra Bryant will be remembered for her warm smile, caring nature, and her delicious pancakes that we all loved so much. She had a heart of gold and touched the lives of all who knew her. Her legacy of love and strength will continue to live on
in the hearts of her family and https://friends.The family is especially appreciative to Joshua and Sonia Bryant for being our beloved granny’s caretaker for the past several months. We are proud and thankful that you honored her wish for a dignified departure in her home. May our granny rest in the peace she deserves with all her
children that have gone before her. May her memory be a blessing to
us all. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished in our hearts.
A celebration of life will be held at her home. Please reach out to a
family member for time/date. Sympathy flowers and cards can be sent
