Barbara Seim Campbell's Obituary
Barbara Seim Campbell gained her angel wings on January 20, 2026, at the age of 93, in Tempe, Arizona. She leaves behind her beloved children: her sons, Scott Campbell and his wife, Carleen, and Craig Campbell and his wife, Kristi; and her daughter, Cathy Shaeffer and her husband, Robert.
In addition to her devotion to family, Barbara enjoyed a distinguished career in real estate as a Realtor and licensed broker, where she managed and mentored many associates. She was deeply involved in civic and political life, serving two terms as President of the Texas Federation of Republican Women.
Barbara loved hosting gatherings for family and friends and was known for her sharp mind and curiosity about the world. She enjoyed challenging herself with crossword puzzles, staying current with news and events, and later in life found great joy in reading and completing jigsaw puzzles.
She leaves behind eleven grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren who affectionately called her “Barbie.” She is reunited in heaven with her husband, Mark Campbell; her son, Jeff Campbell; and her grandson, Travis Campbell.
One of Barbara’s favorite sayings was, “And this too shall pass,” a reflection of the grace, strength, and perspective with which she lived her life.
A graveside memorial will be held at Restland Funeral Home on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at 11:00 am.
