Barbara Leola Chick's Obituary
Barbara Leola Chick, a resident of Garland, Texas, passed away April 26, 2023 at the age of 83. She was born August 28, 1939 to Thelton Tapley and Aline (Penn) Tapley in Winnsboro, Texas. Barbara served on the Planning and Zoning Commission and the City Council for Garland, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thelton and Aline Tapley and her husband, Donald Chick.
Survivors include her son, Thomas Chick; daughter, Terri Viana; granddaughter, Monica Cardenas; great grandsons, Elijah, Easton and Samuel Cardenas; nieces, Becky Lindquist and Sherry Utchel and nephew, Richard Ray.
