Barbara Ann Clark's Obituary
Barbara Ann Clark, died Sunday, June 25, 2017, at age 82. She was born on September 17, 1934 to Floyd and Bertha Black in Tyler, Texas. She attended Oklahoma Baptist University where she met and married Glen Clark on February 12, 1955. She is survived by her husband Glen, her children: Leanne Kindervag, Ginger Smith, and Jason Clark, and seven grandchildren, and her sister Helen Portwood. She was preceded in death by her sister Mary McCoy and brothers, Danny Black and Charles Black as well as her parents. She held a deep faith in the Lord and spent much of her adult life attending or teaching ladies bible studies. Knowing her time was short due to terminal Leukemia, she exclaimed cheerfully to her family shortly before her death, “I win! I get to see Jesus first before any of you!” And so it is. She is now with her first love, and we will join her in due time. In lieu of flowers, family has requested donations to the Children’s Neuroblastoma Cancer Foundation (http://www.cncfhope.org). Visitation for Barbara will be held on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at Restland Funeral Home from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. Family will have graveside service on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at Restland Memorial Park, Dallas, Texas. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75243.
