Barbara spent her career ushering God into the presence of worshippers with her talents as an organist. She was equally passionate about family, friends, travel, and TCU. At TCU she received her Bachelor Music, Cum laude, enjoyed Kappa Kappa Gamma, and performed as a Majorette on the football field. She continued her support to all sports, TCU women’s club and ongoing fundraiser for the frogs. She was the first female president of Duncanville ISD school board, a Piano teacher, a fierce Tennis player, and a writer for the Duncanville Suburban paper with a column called bc ETC . She played her last gig the week before she passed and was an enthusiastic member of the AGO (American Guild of Organists). She was blessed to play treasured organs all over the world. She Lived in Texas, New York, Denver and won on the game show Password in 1964. She was an ever present support and travel companion of her husband John. And a constant source of encouragement to all her family and friends.
