Barbara Anne Collins' Obituary
Barbara Anne Henderson was born on May 8, 1935 to Paul and Pauline Henderson and went to be with her Lord on December 9, 2014. She was from Dallas and graduated North Dallas High School in 1951 and SM U in 1954 with a degree in education. She married Philip Collins on June 16. She served for fifteen years with God’s Word to Women and served as a teacher at Fountain Gate Bible Collage from 1975-1990. She served as a leader in the Body of Christ faithfully for many years. Barbara’s greatest passion was spending time in the presence of her Lord and teaching others to love Him. She is preceded in death by her parents and survived by her husband, Philip; sons, Stephen, Jeff and Byron and their wives; nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. The visitation for Barbara will be from 4:00 to 6:00 PM on Sunday, December 14, 2014 at Restland Funeral Home. A celebration of Barbara’s life will be at 2:30 PM on Monday, December 15, 2014 in The Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75238 at Restland Road.
