Barb will be terribly missed by all who knew her. She was loved by many and her memory will be cherished by all. My heart-felt thoughts and prayers are sent to her family.
Dear Doi Family, I’m so sorry for the loss of your wife and mother. I first remember Barb and her family when they attended St. Paul Lutheran Church in Plano, Texas. Later, both of our families attended Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Carrollton. My son, Chris, is friends with Barb’s son, Jeff. I got to know Barb better as she has been a part of our quilting group for the past couple of years. She had such a kind, peaceful and sweet spirit, and I enjoyed her company immensely. She loved to laugh and join in the fun with the ladies of the quilting group. She was my roommate when our quilting group traveled to Broken Bow, OK for a girls’ quilting and craft weekend. Needless to say, she was tremendously talented at quilting and made many beautiful quilts. She was so generous, giving these beautiful quilts to family and friends. I’m sure her family and friends treasure these quilts. I will dearly miss Barb, but praise God that she is with our Lord in heaven now.
Dear Laura, We love you so much at Willow Bend Academy (WBA) and pray daily for you and your family. Our moms have the biggest influence on us in the development of our character! Your mom had to be an awesome person, because of her wonderful, kind daughter (that’s you!), who humbly models the love of Christ each day. WBA staff and students care about you and will continue to hold you up in prayer! May you know a blessing today, for you have blessed all of us at WBA in so many ways! “Now these three remain: faith, hope, and love, But the greatest of these is love.” 1 Corinthians 13:13 Love in Christ, Lynn Bauer Teacher at WBA
I’m so sorry for the loss of your mother and a dear friend of me and our quilt group. She was such an inspiration to all of us with her quilting talent and skills. She will be missed so much. Our condolences and sympathy to your family.
