Barbara Ann Fleck's Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Barbara Ann (Murphy) Fleck announces her passing on Tuesday,
April 5, 2022, at the age of 85. Barbara peacefully went to the Lord following a lengthy battle with
Parkinson’s Disease and the side effects of a recent surgery. Barb was a faithful servant to God and
dedicated her life to prayer as a member of the Dominican Order of the Roman Catholic church as a lay
nun. Many were blessed by her words of encouragement, prayers, and love. Her positive attitude and
persistent determination helped her overcome many hurdles throughout her lifetime. Barb was a strong
and courageous lady. She is proceeded in death by her husband, John Fleck; survived by her daughter,
Carol Bieler and husband Michael of Dallas, and son, John Fleck of Tempe, Arizona; beloved
grandchildren: Christopher and Laura Mann, Jourdan Bieler and Logan Felts, Cole and Sara Huddlestun,
Andrew Bieler, and Catherine Bieler; two great grandson’s, Jack Mann and Brady Huddlestun, and many
extended family members. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your
choice. The family extends their special thanks to the staff at Villages of Lake Highlands
