Barbara G. Harrell's Obituary
Barbara G. Harrell, age 80, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 6, 2020, at Medical City Hospital in Dallas, Texas. She was born on May 31, 1939, in Houston, Texas, to Virgil and Kathryn Griffin. Barbara was a graduate of Texas Christian University (TCU) and a member of the Phi Beta Phi Sorority. She married Robert Harrell on October 2, 1959. After her marriage, she worked as a secretary at the Dr. Pepper Bottling Plant in Dallas, Texas, and later at C.S.R.G. Barbara was a devoted housewife and mother and she truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; chatting with friends and family and spending time with her grandchildren and nephews and nieces. She was affectionately known as “Bee.” Bee is survived by her husband, Robert; sons, Rob and Ken; grandchildren, Lauren and John; siblings, Janeen Kendall, Yvonne Sanders and Larry Griffin; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Family, friends, and others whose lives Barbara touched are invited to the Graveside Service that will take place at the Restland Cemetery Rose Garden, located at 13005 Greenville Ave, Dallas, Texas 75243, on Friday, February 14, 2020, at 11:00 am.
