Mom was the best Mother-in Law a woman could hope for. She welcomed me in and always made me loved. We had such fun times, I have fond memories of sitting in the kitchen playing chickenfoot and pinochle for hours. Laughing about life and just enjoying the company of family. I remember our knitting classes we used to take together, oh the frustrations we had making socks. I smile remembering it. She was truly my friend, and one of the kindest people I have ever known. I cherish every moment we spent together. The world was a better place with your positive outlook. You touched our lives in such a special way. You will be terribly missed, but never forgotten. You put up such a courageous and brave fight, if anyone in this world deserves peace it is you. I am proud and honored to have called you Mom. With Love, Misty Hunter

I will miss all the phone calls, enjoying a meal together and reminiscing about the "good old days". I never heard you criticize or complain about others in all the 44 years I have been part of the Stout family and you were never critical of your children or their life choices. Your father once referred to you as a true thoroughbred, strong in spirit, determination and conviction. I'm so glad we had a chance to enjoy some good times with you over the last few years. Most of all…you fought a courageous battle with an enemy and are now free of pain and suffering. We love you and wish you a peaceful journey. Tom and Jean Stout
I can just see Barbara, Jack, George, Billie Jean, Ollie, Norman and Lucille all sitting together sharing stories while Jesus looks on. That is the hope that I hold to is that someday we will be reunited with our loved ones. Barbara was a very special lady and welcomed me into the family so long ago. I will always remember her gentle and kind spirit. Carolyn Merriman (George's wife)
