Barbara Taylor Keller's Obituary
Barbara Taylor Keller, age 76 of Houston, passed away peacefully in her sleep Monday, July 8, 2019. She was born to the late G. Warren and Alyene Taylor on February 15, 1943 – always the proud member of the Chickasaw Tribe.Barbara attended Dewey Oklahoma Public Schools growing up before continuing her higher education at the University of Oklahoma. She was an active member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority as well as other civic organizations throughout her lifetime. She started her professional working career for Gold Star Distributors for many years before having the courage and will to finish her professional days in various Mortgage Brokerage firms.Barbara, who has a great love and laughter for life was the most loyal daughter, sister, mother and especially grandmother: known affectionately as “Bebe” to her 4 grandchildren who she spent the last 6 years in Houston totally devoted to. She was supportive in their daily and athletic activities.Her survivors include her 2 children: Courtney (Jeremy) Davis of Houston and Kyle (Chaunsea) Keller of Nacogdoches, her 4 grandchildren Keller Davis, Ruby Davis, Kenzie Keller and Kemper Keller. She is also survived by her siblings Dianne Sheldon, Steve Taylor, and Kent Taylor.Services are being held Monday, July 15, 2019 at Faith Chapel in Prestonwood Baptist Church – 6801 W Park Blvd, Plano, TX 75093 at 2:00 pm.The family wishes to sincerely thank those that have cared and shown tremendous emotional support for Barbara during her final times.
