Barbara Lucille Newton's Obituary
Barbara “LuVell” Lucille Newton was born on January 8th, 1923 in Kaufman County, Texas to the parentage of the late Hood and Sarah Scruggs. She later moved to Dallas where she attended Lincoln High School and married the late Jesse Lee Newton. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.She was preceded in death by her brothers, Louis Gene, Gerome Leon and Leroy; son, Ronald Wayne Newton and daughter, Judy Carroll Thomas. She leaves behind to cherish in her memories the following: children, Beverly Joyce Wheeler (Revell), Herbert Paul Newton (Glennis), Deadral Evette Newton and Marjorie Newton-Taylor; six grandchildren: Nedra Cameron, Mikel Taylor, DeOndra Wheeler, Rachelie Wheeier, Afton Newton, Karis Wesley-Newton (Chun); 4 Great Grandchildren: Jarrell Warren (Habiba), Jarree Warren, Phillip Green III and London Newton, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.Service to celebrate Barbara’s life will be held on Wednesday, November 8, 2017, at 12:30PM in The Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Restland Memorial Park. Honorary Pallbearers will be Revell Wheeler , Louis Thomas, Herbert Paul Newton, Jarree Warren and Chun Lin
