Barbara was such an amazing woman. She was the embodiment of kindness and compassion. I respected and admired her for being so selfless in giving of her time and information when it came to the rescue of cats. You can tell a lot about a person by the way they help others who cannot help themselves and expect nothing in return. I will miss her. God bless her family.
Barbara was such a special lady, and a dear friend! She was warm and caring and always willing to help whenever it concerned cats! I enjoyed spending time with Barbara and she always made me smile. I miss her terribly! My prayers go out to her dear husband and family.

Barbara and I knew each other back from Feral Friends and onto Take Me Home Pet Rescue. Without a doubt, she was one of the sweetest women I know and I feel so lucky to be able to call her my friend. I will miss her smile and sharing stories and hearing her laugh. Her dedication, her support and her willingness to always help an animal or person in need were far above most people these days. Barbara, I will miss you and can only hope to make you proud as you keep an eye on all of us from above.

I met Barbara at Take Me Home Pet Rescue where we shared a mutual love of cats. She was so kind, always calm and thoughtful. She went with me on my first home visit for my first foster whom I had fallen in love with. I was in tears and her compassion helped me through it. She told me before we went in that if this wasn’t the right home for my beloved foster to give her a sign and she would take care of it. We always had great talks and I admired so much the work she did for the feral cat community. You will be greatly missed Barbara and we all loved you.
Barbara was one of those special people who had the kindest nature. After reading her obituary I know she has touched many people through her life. We will miss her at Take Me Home Pet Rescue, she was in rescue for the right reasons not for accolades! God Speed sweet Barbara. We all love you??????
