After 35 years of dedicated employment, Barbara retired from Texas Instruments. She spent the next many years of her retirement spending time with family, showering her poodles with love and occasionally visiting a casino! Most of all, Barbara loved children and had the pleasure of watching her four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren grow up around her. She was ‘Granny’ to many people who loved her dearly.

She is proceeded in death by her husband, Al Slover, her son, Mike Slover and her 3 siblings.
A viewing and graveside service will be held at Restland Funeral Home in Dallas for those that wish to say their final goodbye to this wonderful woman.
