Barbara Ann Smith's Obituary
Barbara Ann Smith, 81 passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 5th. She was born on June 20, 1939 in Shamrock, Texas to Robert and Mary Maples.
Barbara loved children. She was a former elementary school teacher and was always an active volunteer in the nursery of her church. Barbara lived her life as an example of God's love as commanded in John 15:12 "My command is this, Love each other as I have loved you." Her heart was most full when she was helping others.
Barbara is preceded in death by her husband William Smith and her daughter, Ginger Smith.
She is survived by her brother, Robert Sydney Maples II (Gail), her granddaughter, Audra Smith Astler (Dallas), her three great grandsons and her many nieces and nephews.
