The first time I visited DSMA I had the honor of sitting at the same table as this sweet attractive lady. Very observant, she had heard the converstions among the others at the table who were getting to know me. At the end of the luncheon, she made a point to come over and ask me to get involved in a leadership role…I was very flattered and encouraged by her words. After reading about her life, I realized she had gone to Highland Park schools like my daughters, and she was an interior designer and a painter like myself. I guess she sensed we were kindred spirits despite our age difference. I regret I did not get to know her better because I think I would have really enjoyed knowing her. When I saw the notice of her passing, it saddened me.
