Barbara Wilson Duncan's Obituary
Barbara Wilson Duncan, age 81, of Dallas, Texas passed away Sunday, May 28, 2017, at her residence surrounded by her family. Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, June 1, 2017, in the Wildwood Chapel at Restland Cemetery on Greenville Avenue in Richardson. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Barbara was born May 5, 1936 in Dallas, Texas to the late Harold George Weil and Beatrice Metzger Weil. She and John C. Duncan were married on June 18, 1976 in Dallas. Barbara owned and operated Overhead Door Company in Woodward, Oklahoma for several years. In the 1970’s, she started her business with Viviane Woodard Cosmetics and earned many awards including the “Rarisma” which is an executive position with Viviane Woodard Company. Barbara served over five hundred clients throughout her years. She enjoyed boating and horseback riding. Survivors include her husband, John of Dallas; sons, Jerry Lee Wilson, Jr. and wife, Valerie of San Juan Capistrano, California and William Scott Wilson of Frisco, Texas; Brad Duncan and wife, Carylon, Jason Duncan and wife, Lisa all of Austin; daughter, Tracy Groom and husband, Kelly of Austin; sister, Jeanne Shelton and husband, Doug of Dallas; grandchildren, Meagan, Trent, Kelly, Michael, Ian, Owen, Madison, Connar, and Sophie; and great-granddaughter, Ruby. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243.
