Barnett Oliver Walker Sr.'s Obituary
Barnett Oliver Walker Sr., of Plano Texas went to be with his savior Jesus Christ on February 18, 2021 at the age of 83. He is greeted at the Pearly Gates by his loving mother and his hard working father and his domino loving father-in-law. He was born in Dallas on May 18, 1937. Being the man he was he was he always spoke calmly with sincerity in everything he said.
He graduated from Southern Methodist University in 1967, and went on in life to run and own several successful businesses including Savage Heating and Air Conditioning, Alpha Omega Ultrasonics, Saybrook Fabric Stores, The Walker Collection, and Broken BOW Ranch to name only a few. He is survived by his adoring and devoted wife Janet Walker, who dearly misses him everyday and will forever cherish the beautiful life they had created together. They married in 1968 which was truly the start to a love story of a lifetime. He is not only survived by his doting wife, but by his amazing brothers Gary Carl Walker and Donald Edward Walker. He also lives on through his bright and intelligent children- his charming daughters, Teresa and Elle May, and his strong sons; Barnett Jr., Don, and Joseph. All of whom will forever cherish the memory of him in their hearts and minds. His memory and legacy will be carried on through generations by his 6 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
A man that valued family and education, more then words could even begin to describe. He gifted his entire family, all his friends and acquaintances with something that can never be taken away- all the marvelous memories and advice he has given to not only his children but every person he came across in his life.
