Barney and Lil were wonderful friends of my aunt and uncle, Steve and Elaine Stephens. Both Barney and Lil were extremely helpful to Elaine when Steve died, and to me when Elaine became sick. Having no relatives close by, they took charge of the situtation in Dallas for me and visited her every single day, until I was able to move her to Minneapolis. My sincere condolences to the family and other friends of Barney. It was truly an honor to know him and have him for my friend.
