Beatrice Ware Read's Obituary
READ, BEATRICE WARE Beatrice Ware Read, age 90, was born in St. Louis, Missouri on October 14, 1918, to Winifred and Harry Ware. She passed away Tuesday, June 23rd, 2009, at her home. She was preceded in death in 1970 by her husband, John Cleveland Read, a Dallas attorney and by two brothers, Harry Ware and Basil Ware. She graduated from Highland Park High School. She is survived by two daughters and their husbands: Bea and Walter Humann, Joan and Jim Barklow; six grandchildren and their spouses: Walt and Suzanne Humann, David and Mandi Humann, Lisa and Jeff Kilpatrick, Katy and Chris Abel, Tara and Steve Kinder, and Elizabeth Barklow. Nineteen great-grandchildren were her delight: W.J., Katherine, Hailey, and Jenny Beth Humann; Reed, Audrey, and Cole Humann; Kathleen, Sydney, Kate and John Kilpatrick; Bea, Maggie, Annabelle, Christopher and Benjamin Abel; Trent, Madeline, and Nicholas Kinder. In addition to her immediate family, Bea is also survived by nieces and nephews. A private graveside service for family only will be held on Friday.
