Belva Daniel Clark's Obituary
Belva Daniel Clark, 83, of Frisco, Texas, passed away July 15, 2023 surrounded by her family.
She was born in Vivian, Louisiana to Leland and Dorthy Daniel on June 11, 1940. She grew up on the family farm near Blooming Grove, Texas, where she graduated Blooming Grove High School in 1958. Belva excelled at everything she set her mind to. She was a cheerleader, played volleyball and basketball, and finished school earning the honor of class valedictorian.
Belva married Jack Chandler Clark in 1962 and had 39 wonderful years of marriage until Jack’s passing in 2002.
She is survived by her two children, Sheryl Halsey of Frisco, TX and John Clark, and wife Kim of Plano, TX and five grandchildren, Lance Sublett and wife Lisa, Chandler Clark, Sarah Halsey, Kristi Luckman and husband Zack and Stephanie Halsey. Belva has one great-grandchild, Elliott Sublett. She is also survived by her two sisters, Reba Ferrell and husband Ralph of Plano, TX and Johnnie Mae Daniel of Dallas, TX.
Belva was a devoted daughter, wife, sister, mother and grandmother. She loved to knit, crochet, color and find bargains at the thrift store. She made friends with strangers wherever she went, usually gifting them with her handmade crocheted coasters. She was a giving and caring soul who would give you the shirt off her back.
Most importantly, Belva was the best grandmother. There was never a day that went by she didn’t brag on all five grandchildren and of course Elliott too. She was their biggest cheerleader, rarely missing a game or performance. Holidays were always filled with family for a full day of great food, decorations galore and fun games.
Belva had an impact on many lives and she will be forever
missed.
Services will be held Saturday, August 5, 2023 at 10am at the Wildwood Chapel in Restland Cemetary, 13005 Greenville Drive, Dallas, TX 75243.
