Benjamin E Baker's Obituary
Baker, Benjamin was born in 1915 to Emma and Benjamin Baker, who knew him as an adventurous and sometimes mischievous young boy. For the past thirty years, he has affectionately been called “Candy Grandpa”. One of Ben’s hopes was to receive the privilege of passing while in his beloved home and to live a little longer than his father had lived. Ben did just that! After 97 years of sharing his wit with the world, Ben left to be with The Lord and his sweet wife Millie on September 3rd, 2013. He lived a long and full life. His clever mind and thoughtful ways will be dearly missed. Ben is survived by his daughter, Sharon Hennessy and his grandchildren, Julie Hennessy, Tom Hennessy, Steve Hennessy, Christi Lund, Mark Hennessy and 10 great-grandchildren. His memorial service will be held at Restland Wildwood Chapel on Friday, September 13th at 3:00 PM.
