Benjamin Homer Ragsdale's Obituary
Benjamin “Ben” Ragsdale of Mesquite, TexasAlso affectionately known as “Benji”, “Big Ben”, “Brotha” and “Deeds” or “Daddy” earned his wings on Wednesday morning January 31, 2018, at the young age of 43 after a courageous lifelong battle with multiple devastating health afflictions. Ben never gave up, never gave in and fought with all he had until his body gave out on him.Ben leaves his three most precious daughters, Alexandria Ragsdale, Keylee Ragsdale and Rachel Ragsdale to carry on his legacy of Love, Kindness, Perseverance, Honesty, and Bravery. His love for his girls was unsurpassed, they were his angels and now he is theirs. Forever watching over them like only a father can do.Ben was a very successful and impressive Sales Professional who was recognized as a top performer which led to his promotion into management at Arrow Truck Sales. Ben was always revered as an honest, compassionate and dependable person both professionally and personally.Ben was preceded in death by many precious family members including his mother and father, Loraine and Sammy Ragsdale.Ben knew in his final days that his Lord and Savior was with him and ready to carry him to a place where he could be free of his constant pain and agony and he told us God had given him “Happiness to the power of 10”.Thank you, Ben, for all you were to us and for the precious moments of wonderful you etched in our hearts.Don’t worry we will “Feed Jake”The family will receive guest on Saturday, February 10, 2018, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home.A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, February 11, 2018, at 2:30 PM in The Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home.
