Benjamin Scott Walker's Obituary
Benjamin Scott Walker, 22, of Dallas, TX, died March 6, 2011, in a tragic car accident. He was born October 14, 1988, in Dallas, son of Rick and Denise Walker. Ben attended First Baptist Academy, Dallas, Texas Tech University, and The University of Texas at Dallas. Ben was a wrestler at FBA and a member of the Youth Chorus of Greater Dallas. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, singing, snowboarding, movies, and working in the yard with his dad. Ben was preceded in death by his brother, Joel, and survived by his parents, Rick and Denise Walker of Dallas, and his sisters with their families Kara Morris and Lindsay Ward, of Dallas. He also leaves his grandparents, George and June Bingham of Odessa, and Don and Sara Walker of Phoenix. He will also be missed by his many cousins and friends. While Ben’s family loved him very much, his Savior’s love has always been greater. Jesus chased Ben with His goodness and mercy throughout his life, and He could not lose him in death. Ben’s family is comforted by God’s faithfulness to Ben even now and to them in their grief. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Restland Funeral Home in Dallas. The visitation will be held Wednesday evening, 6:00-8:00 pm, at the funeral home, and the service will be held at Park Cities Presbyterian Church in Dallas, at 1:00 PM on Thursday, March 9, 2011.
