Benny Ray Mitchell's Obituary
Benny Ray Mitchell, 71, of Dallas, Texas passed away peacefully May 1, 2025, after a long and brave battle with several serious medical conditions.
Benny was born on December 4, 1953 in Dallas, Texas, to W.J. Mitchell and Cynthia Ann Mitchell. He enjoyed traveling which brought him to a long professional career as an over-the-road truck driver. Benny was a kind, loving, generous person who enjoyed NASCAR. After becoming disabled, he developed a love for his computer. Benny will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.
Benny was preceded in death by his parents, Willie J. and Cynthia Ann Mitchell, sister, Sherry Jason and brother Gary Mitchell. He is survived by his sister, Katie Wolff, nieces, Monique Lacey, Abbie Villarreal, Beth Mitchell, and Jennifer Wolff along with many extended family members that will miss him dearly.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Dallas Pets Alive in Dallas, Texas, Mazie's Mission in Plano, Texas, or a charity of your choice.
Benny's inurnment will be private per family request. He will be laid to rest at Restland Memorial Park Cemetery in the Garden: Court of Reflections.
