Bereniece Barbara Kopinski's Obituary
Bereniece (Bunny) Sajewski Kopinski, a beloved mother, grandmother, and Jesus-loving
prayer warrior, passed away peacefully on May 1, 2024. Born and raised in Chicago, Bunny
married Clifford Kopinski in 1960. They moved to California and then to Texas, where they
raised their five children.
Dedicated to serving others, she had a successful career running her own technical
recruiting firm. She was also known for leading numerous bible studies and prayer groups,
where she shared her strong relationship and love for Jesus. As a prayer warrior, she
professed that God responded with strength, peace, and comfort when two or more were
gathered in His name. She never hesitated to break out in prayer with anyone who was
experiencing fear, anxiety, or trouble. Her unwavering faith was evident in all she did, and
she touched the hearts of many with her prayers and words of encouragement.
Bunny is preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Kopinski, with whom she shared 50
years of marriage. She is survived by her children Teresa (Patrick) Ferguson, Ted (Jill)
Kopinski, Marlene (Gene) Williams, Jason (Tracy) Kopinski, and Stacey (Ryan) Hamilton. She
also leaves behind thirteen grandchildren Brandon (Whitney) Juenger, Hailey (Randy)
Strickland, Johnallen (Camille) Richards, Parker Kopinski, Courtney (Jake) Harding, Alaina
(Sasha) Lyapman, Pierce Kopinski, Stacey Kopinski, Katie Kopinski, Nicolas Hamilton, Hudson
Hamilton, Jack Kopinski, and Berkley Hamilton and four great-grandchildren Sage Kopinski,
Kallen Harding, Luxe Lyapman and Lena Richards as well as her loyal and much-loved dog,
Penny.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, May 13, 2024, at St. Patrick
Catholic Church. Bunny will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her legacy of faith,
love, and compassion will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
