Berta Lou Cade Powers' Obituary
Berta Lou Cade Powers was born in Chandler, Texas on June 6, 1931 and went to be with her Heavenly Father on May 20, 2016. Berta worked for many years for Western Union, retiring in May of 1988. A long-time resident of Dallas, Berta was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She is preceded in death by her devoted husband, Bill and survived by her sons David, and his wife Terri and Steve, and his wife Bonnie, her grandchildren, Christopher, Danielle and Stephanie Powers, David and Chris Ibarra, and her great grandson, Jeremiah. Her kind heart and generous spirit will be greatly missed by her family and the many friends she touched in her lifetime. Family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at Restland Funeral Home. Services will take place at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at The Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make donations to the American Heart Association.
