Bertha Hutchins' Obituary
Mrs. Bertha Hutchins, age 95, passed away peacefully Saturday morning, July 20, 2019. She was born October 16, 1923, in Kaufman, Texas, a daughter of the late John and Mary Houser.Bertha is survived by two daughters, Brenda Thompson and Robin Smith, and one son-in-law, Cary Smith. Grandchildren are Michelle Pritchard and husband Mike; Amy Rodriguez and husband, Freddy; Don Thompson, Jr.; Farah Erwin and husband, Aeneas; Kaylee Traughber and husband, Chase; Shelby Smith; and Harley Smith. Great grandchildren are Rami Bass and partner, Dakota; Brent Rodriguez; Lauren Pritchard; Brad Rodriguez; Brian Pritchard; Nicholes Crawford; Westlee Crawford; Ashton Smith; Daveah Crawford; Jordan Russell; Ellie Traughber and Owen Traughber. Great-great grandchildren are Kaiylee Barnes and Brylee Barnes. Sister Delphia Cotton. And numerous nieces and nephews.Bertha was preceded in death by her husband, Olen; daughter Deborah Sutton; son-in-law Don Thompson; brothers Johnny, Jody, George and Alvin; and sisters Annie, Katie, Lily and Mary.Funeral service will be held at 3pm Tuesday, July 23, 2019, at Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas. Visitation is from 2pm to 3pm prior to the services.
