Mrs. Bertha May Mccormick's Obituary
MCCORMICK, BERTHA MAY, 90, passed away peacefully on December 15, 2006. She was born on July 15, 1916 in Aurora, Illinois, but has been a devoted resident of Dallas, TX for more than 85 years. She was a proud graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School and has immensely enjoyed a career as a manicurist since 1946. A large majority of he rlater years were happily spent at the Highland Park Village Barber Shops. She was a longtime member of the Highland Park UMC. Bertha was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. A loving, generous, loyal lady, full of love and a wonderful sense of humor, Bertha will be truly missed by her family, many loyal and devoted customers, coworkers and friends. Bertha is survived, missed and much loved by her daughter, Mrs. Glenna Lasater, wife of Charles Lasater of Fort Worth, TX and her son, Dr. Gary Gaulden, husband of Marilyn Gaulden of Houston, TX. She is also survived by four loving grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren: Mrs. Julie Minnich, wife of Greg Minnich and their three children, Ben, Sam, and Katie of Aledo, TX; Mr. Mark Gaulden, husband of Eleanor Gaulden and their two children Fraser and Taylor of Memphis, TN; Mrs. Kristy Kepple, wife of Rob Kepple and their two children, Klay and Max of Austin, TX; Mr. Matthew Gaulden, husband of Nicole Gaulden and their two children, Austin and Ashley of Austin, TX. Visitation will be held from 2:00 – 4:00 Sunday, December 17, 2006 at Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery. Service will be Monday, December 18, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. also at Restland Funeral Home in Dallas.
