To the Family of Bertha L.West
Mrs. West had such a sweet spirit. When we came to Hamilton Park in 1992, she invited me into the UMW at that time and then she invited me to join the communion stewards. We attended early service and of course there was breakfast after church. We became great friends and after we left Texas and moved to Chicago area and then to the Atlanta area, we stayed in touch via cards and phone calls until she became ill. I know Mrs. West is keeping God on his toes. To her daughter and granddaughter, we never had a conversation with talking about the both of you. She was so proud of you.
I thank God for allowing our paths to cross. Rest in Peace Bertha Lee West.
