Bessie Burnell Etheredge's Obituary
Bessie Burnell Doyle Etheredge passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, February 19, 2022. She leaves behind her high school sweetheart of 69 years. Billy Jack Etheredge; two granddaughters, Kasey Hampton (husband Dustin Hund), and Shannon Buck (husband Ryan Buck); son-in-law, Billy Don Hampton; brother, Jim Doyle (wife Nancy Doyle); and brother, Jerry Doyle (wife Heavia Doyle). She is preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Bessie Doyle; son, Billy Greg Etheredge; and daughter, Jackie Susan Etheredge Hampton. Burnell loved spending time outside playing golf and fishing in South Fork, Colorado. Burnell was an active member of both Royal Lane Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas and Second Baptist Church in Lubbock, Texas.
Services for Burnell will be held Graveside at Restland Memorial Park on Friday, March 18 at 2:00pm.
