Dear David and Family, I was so sorry to find out today that your Mom had passed away this past November. I thought so very much of her and Howard and after Howard passed away your Mom and I maintained correspondence until after she moved. I missed our correspondence and often wondered how she was. Your Dad and I diligently worked for years on the Spurlock family genealogy. You may remember me as Pat Spurlock Elder. I am now Pat Spurlock Blankenship. Father time and the Grim Reaper sure do make a lot of changes in our lives over the years. Anyway, just wanted to send my sincere condolences and let you know that I will always have the best memories of both your Dad and Mom. With warm regard, Pat
