Bette Jane Quigley's Obituary
Bette Jane Scott Quigley, 79, a native Dallasite, passed away peacefully on July 11, 2017. Bette was born to William Wayne Scott and Jesse Hall Scott on June 28, 1938, at Florence Nightingale Hospital. Bette was a proud graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School in 1956 and went on to attend The University of Texas. She subsequently had a lengthy career in the field of Book Keeping. She delighted in her many years of work and fun at the Richard Spivey Showroom in the World Trade Center of Dallas. After retirement, she devoted herself to her passions for family, friends, cooking, and dogs. Bette enjoyed life! She was always the entertainer with her quick wit and fun loving spirit. Lovely dinner parties in her home were enjoyed by many. She prided herself in being an extremely independent woman and doing things her way. A quality cherished by all that loved and knew her. Bette is survived by her beloved dog Willow, son Ronald Lance Quigley, daughter Debby Quigley Greenhaw, son-in-law James Ashley Greenhaw and grandson James Scott Greenhaw. Graveside service will be held at 9:00 am, Friday, July 21, 2017, at Restland Memorial Park with Dr. Michael Waco officiating.
