Mrs.Bettie Jean Mercer passed away peacefully on Tuesday,February 19, 2019 in her home in Argyle, Texas. She was born on November 29, 1931 to her loving and thoughtful parents, Lillie Mae Nalley and Thurman G. Morris in Dallas, Texas. She will be sincerely missed by her loving family, her devoted friends, and all the wonderful individuals who knew and loved her. Mrs. Bettie Jean Mercer is survived by one daughter, Sharon Sewell from Argyle, Texas, sons; Marc and Keith Chancey, grandsons; Shad, Jordan, Cooper, and Cameron, granddaughter; Callie, and two great-grandchildren.Visitation for Mrs. Mercer will be on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in The Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery with a Funeral Service following shortly after at 3:00 p.m. also at the Wildwood Chapel.Funeral arrangements for Mrs. Bettie Jean Mercer have been faithfully entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery, which is located at 13005 Greenville Ave., at the intersection of Restland Road, Dallas, Texas 75243, and can be reached at (972) 238-7111.
