Betty Clevinger Alvarez's Obituary
Betty was born on June 22, 1930 in Dallas, Texas and passed away on November 11, 2020 in Greenville, Texas at the age of 90.
She is survived by her daughter Nancy and son-in-law Lynn Greer; grandsons Cody Hunt and Jared Young; granddaughters Misti and her husband Pete Baker, Mindy and her husband Blair McAnally; great grandchildren Emily Baker, Billy Hunt, Maddie Baker, Sara Hunt, Meredith Baker and Chelsea Hunt, Isabella McAnally and Zackary McAnally; nieces and nephews and many other family and friends.
Betty is preceded in death by her Husband Mike Alvarez, her son Paul Young and parents James Wesley and Geneva Clevinger.
Betty worked for Southwestern Bell for 33 years before retiring. She acquired her Real Estate License and then worked for Cal Wilkins Relators and then ERA Relators. Betty was an active member of Lochwood Baptist Church for 45 years before she joined Sunnyvale Baptist Church in 2002. She was in the Sunshine Choir, Bible Study Group, Outreach Leader in the Joy Sunday School Class and other activities.
Betty was kind, loving and thoughtful to everyone and grateful for everything. Her beautiful spirit was an example for all of us to follow because she loved Jesus.
We will all miss her very much.
Visitation will be held Sunday, November 15, 2020 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home. A Service will be held Monday, November 16, 2020 at 10:00 AM in the Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home.
