Betty Jo Anderson's Obituary
ANDERSON, BETTY JO ERWIN Passed away on May 4, 2008 in Cedar Hill, TX. She was born on August 29, 1923 in Denison, TX. When she retired, after 40 years of service at the Dallas Branch of The Home Insurance Company, she and her husband moved to Lake Kiowa, TX. She led an active life and was involved in The Woman’s Club, The Kiowa Emergency Service, and The Kiowa Ones. She was an active member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Gainesville, TX where she belonged to the Women’s Group and The Good Shepherd Program. Her husband, Jack L. Anderson, her parents, Robert Lee and Beatrice Inman Erwin and her sister, Doris Sheeley, precede her in death. She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, DeLoris and Hal Ault; sister-in-law, Edwina Anderson Hays; nephews, Larry Campbell and wife, Gayle, Robert Ault and Archie Campbell; nieces, Andrea Ault Clark and husband, J.D. and Carolyn Campbell Autry; great-nieces, April Campbell Bliss, Cristen Campbell Gray, Lauren Campbell and Darby Autry; great-nephews, Keith Campbell, Robert Ault, Kirk Kersey and Cory Willy; cousin Jean Simmons, and several great-great nieces. Aunt Betty will be greatly missed and always remembered by all who loved her. Services will be held at Restland Memorial Park on Thursday, May 8, 2008 in Abbey Chapel at 1:00pm. Visitation with the family will be on Wednesday, May 7, 2008 from 5:00-7:00pm at Restland Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, Memorials be made to: St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, P.O. Box 635, Gainesville, TX 76241.
