Betty White Quattlebaum Barron Blanck's Obituary
Born in Altheimer Arkansas on June 19, 1923, Betty White Quattlebaum Barron Blanck passed away on February 13, 2021 in Richardson, Texas where she lived with her son Mark and daughter in law, Roxann Barron. She was the first of two children born to Lawrence Martin II and LinNeill White Quattlebaum of Pine Bluff, Arkansas.
As a young woman, Betty was devoted to the World War II effort and served as an assistant to doctors working with injured soldiers returning from the war. She was known by her close friends and family as “Betty White”, a combination of her first and middle names.
Betty White moved to Dallas and began working as a law clerk for judges in the Dallas/Fort Worth area until she was married to Vincent S. Barron. Soon after her marriage, she had three children, Mark Vincent, Christopher Walt and Rebecca LinNeill Barron. Betty White was a devoted wife and homemaker until 1965 when her husband Vincent died of a tragic accident.
Betty White was a strong woman and had a resolute determination to raise her three children in the neighborhood that Vince had selected for her family. Although difficult, given the cost of maintaining a home of that size, Betty White worked tirelessly to care for her children and provide for all the necessities. At many times she would work two jobs to maintain the household and provide for her family. Betty White was a selfless, loving mother who gave everything to others. She was deeply loved by her friends and family. She was a devoted member of Royal Lane Baptist Church and attended regularly until her health prevented her from doing so. She is preceded in death by her husband, Vincent S. Barron and her mother and father, Lawrence Martin “Pint” Quattlebaum II, LinNeill White Quattlebaum and her brother Lawrence Martin “Bud” Quattlebaum III.
Betty White is survived by her three children Mark Vincent, Christopher Walt and Rebecca LinNeill Barron. In addition, Betty White is survived by five grandchildren, Jeri Barron Price, Christy Barron Bohannon, Amanda Barron Hayden, Christopher Vincent Diaz and Elizabeth Paige Diaz. Betty White was also blessed with five great grandchildren, Ryan Christopher Price, Travis Walt Price, Avery Grace Bohannon, Charlotte Lynn Bohannon and James Barron Hayden. Betty White will be missed beyond words and continues to be remembered and loved dearly by her family.

A reception will be held at the home of her granddaughter, Jeri Barron Price immediately following the burial. Address as follows: 2708 Chadbourne Drive, Plano, Texas 75023. Lunch will be served.
