Betty Jane Biar's Obituary
Betty Jane Rowzee Biar, 80, went home to be with Jesus on November 30, 2010. She was born May 9, 1930, in St. Paul, Minnesota. Betty married Bob Biar on November 6, 1953. They recently celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary. She was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church for the past 46 years, where she was also a member of the Ruth Circle. Betty loved her Lord, her family, her friends, and traveling. She also loved to bake and her many friends were recipients of her brownies or muffins. Her parents, Jim and Marie Rowzee, precede her in death. She is survived by her husband, Bob, daughter, Lisa Biar; daughter Valerie Stalets and son-in-law Scott; son John Biar and daughter-in-law Darlene; grandchildren, Jonathan Biar and wife Ashley, who are expecting Bob and Betty’s first great grandson, Kaden, in January; Jacob Biar, Kristina Biar, Kaitlyn Biar, Meredith Stalets; her two sisters, Dorothy Greunke and Audrey Hansen, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation is from 6-8pm at Restland Funeral Home on Friday, December 3, 2010. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 4,2010, at 11:00am at Bethel Lutheran Church, 11211 East Northwest Hwy. Dallas, TX 75238. Officiating will be Rev. Randall Haedge, Rev. Luke Madsen, and Rev. Dr. James P. Dretke. She was loved very much and will be greatly missed.
